Sip and Paint Charity and Networking Event to launch the Storytelling projects of women, girls and non-binaries from South Asia
On October 31, Ujyalo Foundation in collaboration with Asian Avenue magazine hosted Sip and Paint, a networking and charity event to amplify the voices of women, girls, and non-binaries from Southeast Asia in the Denver area by documenting their stories of being an Asian American, an immigrant, and a woman, girl, or non-binary from Southeast Asia in Denver.

A Conversation of Support for the incoming Afghan Refugees was hosted to resource pool information to support the incoming Afghan refugees in Colorado.
On October 12 we hosted a online zoom session to resource pool support for incoming Afghan refugees in Colorado.
Colorado is expecting the arrival of 865+ Afghan refugees, and we need to be prepared to welcome our new members of the society.
The zoom call was led by community leaders, social justice activists, and individuals from Denver Human Resources to share and learn about various resources available to support the community.
